How to Choose a Best Gimbal

Gimbals are a popular choice for DSLRs, which means they’re available in a range of price points and quality levels. There are also plenty of models with built-in cameras, like the DJI Osmo Mobile and the GoPro Karma.

There are two main factors to consider when choosing a gimbal:

The camera you’re shooting on. The image stabilization system will be most effective when the camera is stabilized in one place, so be sure your camera can use all of the stabilization features it offers. If you have to move the camera around, you’ll want a gimbal that can handle that as well.

The lens you’re using. The larger your lens, the more camera shake can be an issue. Be sure to check out gimbals with detachable lenses, like the DJI Ronin-S and the EZVIZ Pixy Plus, because they’ll let you change between a wide variety of lenses without having to swap out gimbals.

Gimbals are incredibly useful tools. With them, you can easily and accurately capture video footage with a camera, or capture still images that perfectly frame your subject in the middle of the frame.

One of the biggest advantages of gimbals is that they allow you to take photos from above or below your subject, out of sight. That makes it easy to photograph your subject from above, and difficult for others to spy on you.

Even more amazing is how some gimbals include a 4K video recording feature that allows you to record super high-resolution video footage that can be played back on an HD TV. Plus, some models offer 360-degree viewing, so you can watch your footage from all directions — including behind you! These features make gimbals extremely versatile and useful tools, which should be considered if you want to take professional-looking photos or videos.
